Established in 1991, the HCHBA groups together builders, renovators, suppliers, trade contractors, landscapers, excavators, and other professionals whose goal is to ensure the long term success of the local residential construction industry.

Skilled Trades
DEVELOPING A WORKFORCE. The Haliburton County Home Builders Association has identified a lack of skilled trade workers in Haliburton County – much like many areas in Ontario. HCHBA is invested in both growing and developing the workforce for the future. Without education for students to know about career opportunities in skilled trades, we will not have trades people to fill the demand for these jobs. BECOME A MEMBER OF HCHBA. Your membership fee supports all three levels of the association – Local, Provincial and National. We work to ensure the interests of homebuyers, homeowners and the contractors working on their behalf are understood at all government levels. We provide information to help consumers and contractors make confident decisions when they build / buy a new home, or hire a renovator to improve their existing one. Annual membership cost approximately $1,170.00 *Fee structure available upon request.
