HCHBA Algae Report

Under the guidance of the HCHBA, a study was commissioned procuring a scientific report of algal blooms in Haliburton County.


The environment and protecting our resources is on the forefront of Canadian issues.  Both consumers and builders can take steps during the building process to ensure that our finished products are the most energy efficient possible.  Current home owners can also take steps to upgrade items in their home to improve efficiency.  There are many incentive programs available that are designed to encourage and reward those who build or renovate with energy conservation in mind.  These sites provide information about some of these programs with tips and suggestions to make your project as ecofriendly as possible.
